Veterinary Technician

Job Role

  • Our veterinary technicians are a vital piece of our care team. They provide support to our vets in delivering high-quality, hands on care to our patients. They also provide support to our clients by answering their questions, educating and making recommendations for their pet’s care, and being a shoulder to lean on during the tough visits.
  • Prior experience is required. Certification/Licensure is preferred but not required.

Essentials

  • Assist vet during exams, surgeries, and other medical procedures
  • Perform an array of duties ranging from care of hospitalized patients to using and maintaining lab equipment
  • Keep the treatment and surgical area clean, including cleaning and sterilizing surgical tools
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, observing & recording vital signs and responding to any changes or complications
  • Must be comfortable running and monitoring anesthesia as sole-technician
  • Educate pet owners on a variety of topics

Veterinary Technician Assistant

Job Role

  • Our veterinary assistants are essential team members. Not only do they play a crucial role in supporting our veterinary technicians and veterinarians, they also provide assistance to our client service representatives. Their work days are never the same – they may spend the morning assisting with appointments and hospital patients and fill the role of client concierge in the afternoon. This job is perfect for those who have no (or limited) veterinary technician experience and are hoping to build their current skillset.

Essentials

  • Support the care team with appointments, diagnostics, and procedures
  • Support the CSR team by providing assistance to clients (answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and addressing questions or concerns)
  • Handle and restrain animals during procedures
  • Keep the treatment areas and exam rooms tidy and clean
  • Assist with basic patient care (feeding, giving medications)

Client Service Representative

Job Role

  • Our client service representatives are the link between our clients and the rest of our care team. Their role is multi-faceted. Not only are they the first warm face a client and pet see when they enter, they also serve as the first stop for scheduling appointments, answering client questions, and relaying information to the rest of the team.
  • No previous veterinary experience is required. While there is a lot to learn, we allow our team to grow at their own pace. We will provide opportunities to build upon your knowledge and skill set.

Essentials

  • Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience (We want our clients to know we’re happy to see them!)
  • Schedule appointments efficiently
  • Provide direct communication with clients through phone calls, emails, and texts
  • Relay information between the healthcare team and pet parents
  • Keep our lobby clean and sanitized
  • Educate clients on preventive and wellness care, service pricing, and other routine care, like spay and neuter surgeries
