Dr. Josh Platt
I grew up in Lufkin, Texas, surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, and cattle. My family raised and trained Team Roping horses, and I competed in rodeos across Texas and Louisiana. This taught me a lot about hard work and taking care of animals. There are so many things I love about being a veterinarian. I love the daily challenge of diagnosing and treating patients who cannot speak for themselves. I love that what I see today will not be the same as yesterday or tomorrow. Most importantly, I love building lasting relationships with owners and earning that particular level of trust that allows us to work together to provide their pets with the best imaginable care.
When not at the hospital, I enjoy playing golf, working out, and spending time with my family and friends.

Dr. Blair Platt
I was born and raised in Nocona, Texas. My exposure to medicine started when I was about five years old. My dad, a family medicine physician, would bring me along to the hospital for medical rounds, seeing patients, and occasionally the emergency room! I had big plans at five of following in my dad’s footsteps until he explained there were also animal doctors. Like most veterinarians, I grew up surrounded by (and obsessed with) animals, so I knew that being an animal doctor was the perfect career.
When not at the hospital, I enjoy reading, bingeing the latest TV series, and spending time with our pets. We have two wiener dogs named Coco and Zoe, a labradoodle named Wrigley, and a cat named Ollie.

Veterinary Technician
Hi, I’m Amber! I’m a veterinary technician here at CVH with roots on a small farm. My husband and I are proud parents to four kids, all of whom are active in sports and UIL activities. Our family shares our home with a feisty calico named Nala, and two dogs, Lily, a black lab, and Thora, a Corgi mix, who love the outdoors as much as we do. We enjoy spending time together at the lake, fishing and kayaking. In my downtime, I challenge myself with obstacle course races and focus on my college studies. I’m excited to meet you and your furry family!

Howdy! I am a native Texan but was raised in Memphis, TN. Veterinary medicine has always been a passion of mine and I was able to get my start after college in 2012. My background includes orthopedics, nutrition and emergency care. I have 4 wonderful dogs: Lillie Ann, Dora Jean, Piggy and Scruff. All rescues and each one has given me at least one gray hair. 🙂
I am a licensed real estate agent, so when I am not here, I am touring and helping clients find apartments all over DFW. I will also pick up relief at other hospitals. In my free time, you will find me at church, the farmer’s market, playing volleyball or spending quality time with friends/family. I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing team and it is a pleasure to work in and serve the Celina community. Can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies!

My passion for animals started at the young age of 4 years old when I got my first cat followed by when I got my first horse at age 6, and it has blossomed since! I strive everyday to take care of your furry loved ones, show them passion and kindness, as I continue to grow my knowledge in the veterinary field by attending Penn Foster to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.🩺
Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with my German Shepherd, Sadie, & two cats, Carl and Felix. In my free time I love to garden and grow my own flowers🌷🌻, spend time cooking, and going on long hikes with my dog!

Client Service Representative
Hi. I’m Drew and I am a Client Services Representative. I am excited to work with a clinic that prioritizes building lasting relationships with their clients and community. I have a passion for small businesses, excellent customer service, compassionate medical care and animal rescue. I foster Great Pyrenees dogs with a local organization called SPIN (Saving Pyrs in Need). When I am not at work you will find me cheering on my amazing percussionist 🥁in his high school marching band, rooting for my favorite UT Long Horn Quidditch player 🤘🧹or traveling with my husband ☀️🌊⛱️. We also count two Great Pyrenees dogs (Percy and Sammy), three cats (Berry, Pearl, Topaz) and several foster dogs as members of our family. I am excited to be a part of the team at CVH and eager to serve the Celina community by caring for furry friends and their families.
